The RGS Board of Directors approved these updated strategic planning goals in September of 2024.
Goal 1: Outstanding Service
We will focus on building long-term client relationships, addressing local government needs, positioning RGS as a high-value service provider, and delivering exceptional client-centered solutions.
Goal 2: Effective Culture
We aim to foster collaboration, attract and retain talent, ensure leadership continuity, and clearly communicate RGS’s mission, values, and value proposition to support sustainable growth and excellent service.
Goal 3: Organizational Viability
We will establish strong financial and risk management practices, enhance administrative and technological infrastructure, develop scalable service models, and ensure knowledge transfer for sustainable growth and efficiency.
Goal 4: Public Service Leadership
We seek to exemplify public service values, foster effective public policy understanding, strengthen relationships with stakeholders and local governments, collaborate with industry associations, promote diverse JPA membership, and address key issues affecting the local government industry.
