Michael MacDonald
Senior Advisor
Michael MacDonald joined RGS as a Senior Advisor in the Transparent Government Service Group in 2023. Michael provides elevated municipal clerking advisory services, including advice on elections, districting and re-districting, conflicts of interest, accessibility, records management, training, and Brown Act meeting management. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is also certified as a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) and a California Professional Municipal Clerk (CPMC). Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with family and dogs, continuously learning, and practicing his Spanish with the hopes of becoming fluent.
