Bob Machuca
Senior Advisor
Bob Machuca joined RGS as a Senior Advisor in 2023. He brings more than 25 years of experience in economic, community, and workforce development, working closely with businesses and over 50 small, medium, and large cities throughout Southern California.
Bob’s background in both the private and nonprofit sectors—including work with one of California’s largest countywide economic development organizations—provides him with practical, solutions-oriented insight to help cities and businesses grow and succeed. His efforts have contributed to attracting and retaining hundreds of companies and creating more than 50,000 jobs in Los Angeles County.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has received nine international, national, and statewide awards for excellence in economic development.
Outside of work, Bob enjoys landscape design, caring for his bonsai, and giving back to the community with his wife.
