RGS is proud to mark one year as a Partner in the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE).

Over the past year, we’ve gained valuable tools, insights, and connections that have helped us better support public agencies in promoting equity and inclusion.

Through GARE’s national network—led by Race Forward and UC Berkeley’s Othering & Belonging Institute—we’ve learned key lessons, including:

• Equity requires action: Lasting change happens when equity is built into everyday policies and practices.
• Collaboration matters: Working together with others leads to greater progress.
• Learning never stops: Continued education is essential for meaningful impact.
