Local agencies are managing increasingly complex demands while working to sustain capacity and maintain service delivery. To better understand where RGS can strengthen support in 2026, Probolsky Research recently conducted a client survey to gather feedback on agency needs and priorities.

Survey respondents identified several service areas where agencies need the most support, including:

• General Human Resources support

• Finance services

• Recruitment support

• Strategic planning and organizational development

• Governance, records, and administrative support for unstaffed entities

These findings reinforce the core service areas clients most often associate with RGS—such as Finance, General HR, Recruitment, and administrative support—while also pointing to where we can sharpen our focus, expand capacity, and improve how we deliver support.

As we move into 2026, RGS is using this feedback to strengthen our approach and ensure agencies receive the right expertise at the right time—whether through short-term project support or long-term partnership.
