RGS turns 25 and unveils new mission statement

On March 1, 2001, Regional Government Services was established through a Joint Powers Agreement between the Association of Bay Area Governments and the City of San Carlos. The founding vision was to create a collaborative service model to help public agencies strengthen operations, build internal capacity, and deliver results efficiently.
That vision continues to guide our work and we’ve just adopted a new mission statement to usher us into the next 25 years.
At RGS, our teams deliver collaborative administration, training, and consulting to advance public agencies.
Our new mission reflects how we partner with agencies — we are not just there to check boxes, deliver a training, or do a project. We are there to advance public agencies, their teams, and their communities.
Throughout our 25th year, we will reflect on the milestones, partnerships, and moments that have shaped our organization and supported agencies statewide. Thanks for being part of our journey.
