FoMunicipal Management Association of Northern California logounded in 1950, MMANC addresses the professional needs of local government managers. It is the oldest and one of the largest organizations of its kind in the nation.

Today, MMANC serves more than 800 members in 49 of California’s 58 counties in Northern and Central California. MMANC members include local government professionals at various levels of local government (analysts, division managers, directors, and assistant managers) across a variety of disciplines (city manager offices, parks and recreation, finance, information technology, utilities, human resources, police, and fire).

RGS partners with MMANC with its popular Analyst Boot Camp training program. Participants in the Analyst Boot Camp receive a 1-year MMANC membership as part of the Boot Camp tuition.

MMANC’s 75th Anniversary was celebrated at the group’s Annual Conference in Monterey. The sold-out conference was attended by over 440 MMANC members and supporters, including 14 past presidents of the organization.

RGS Strategic Services Consultant Brian Moura was one of the past presidents in attendance at the event. Brian served as MMANC President early in his career while working as a Senior Management Analyst in the City of Hayward Public Works Department.
